A well-executed event security plan is essential to the smooth flow of activities. Event security at the Dallas Convention Center is provided by state-licensed, trained, insured and bonded professionals of our exclusive provider, D&L Entertainment Services, a Dallas-based event security company. Each security specialist receives 56 hours of training in crowd management, CPR, first aid and the use of emergency equipment. Available personnel include ushers, ticket takers, floor/door security agents, roving relief personnel, and security supervisors/managers.
